Delete your account

You can delete your Doodle Dragon Studio account and its associated data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what happens.

Delete in the app

Open Doodle Dragon Studio.
Go to the Account tab.
Tap Delete account.
Read the confirmation, then confirm.

Deletion starts immediately and you are signed out when it completes.

Delete by email

If you cannot access the app — for example you have lost the device — email support@mcntech.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject Account deletion request.

We will confirm your identity via that email address and complete the deletion. We aim to action requests within 7 days and complete them within 30.

Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and can only be cancelled through them. If you delete your account without cancelling, you may continue to be charged for a service you can no longer sign in to.

What is deleted

Your account record — user identifier, email address, and display name
Your subscription entitlement record
Your credit balance and credit period
Your usage history and any diagnostic records tied to your account
Private project backups, retained revisions, and Cloud Trash items
Temporary generated media and generation-job records
The associated RevenueCat customer record
Your Firebase Authentication user

What happens to your projects

Projects stored only on your device remain there after account deletion. Any project backups you opted to store in the cloud are permanently deleted with the account and can no longer be restored on another device.

To remove projects from the device as well, clear Doodle Dragon’s storage in your device settings or uninstall the app. There is not yet a bulk local-data deletion button inside the app. See delete your projects, data, or account.

Heads up Export anything you want to keep before you delete, including projects that currently have cloud backups. A .ddstory archive plus a PDF gives you an independent copy, and account deletion cannot be undone. See back up and move your projects.

What we may retain, and why

We keep a limited set of records where the law requires it or where we need them to protect the service:

Transaction and tax records — retained as required by financial record-keeping law. These are records of a payment, not of your content.
Security and abuse records — a minimal record retained where necessary to prevent fraud or abuse.

Neither includes your projects, drawings, photographs, audio, video, or text.

How long it takes

Deletion is initiated immediately. Removal from active systems happens within 30 days. Removal from routine backups follows the ordinary backup rotation, after which no copy remains.

Can I get my account back?

No. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. If you sign up again afterwards, it is a brand-new account with a new credit balance and no history.
