What the current app does for accessible interaction and the dedicated controls and testing still ahead of us.

What is in the current app
System text scaling. The Flutter interface uses the device’s text-scaling setting. Some dense screens still need broader large-text testing.
Screen reader foundations. Important Studio controls and media previews have semantic labels for TalkBack and VoiceOver. Complete screen-by-screen reader coverage is still being tested.
Text and icons together. Selection and status are generally represented with labels or icons as well as colour.
There is no dedicated contrast control or Studio read-aloud control in the current release. The Account row labelled Accessibility still leads to a legacy settings screen and should not be treated as a complete accessibility panel.
Colour is never the only signal. Anything indicated by colour is also indicated by text, shape, or an icon.
What we’re still working on
We would rather tell you what isn’t done than imply everything is.
- Full keyboard navigation for external keyboards on tablets
- A dedicated Accessibility screen with contrast and text options
- Optional read-aloud for Studio instructions and page text
- Complete TalkBack and VoiceOver flow testing
- A tablet and landscape layout, currently portrait-only on iOS
- Captions on exported videos
- Reduced-motion handling in a few animated transitions

If something in the app is hard or impossible to use, that is a bug and we want to hear about it. Email support@mcntech.com with your device and what you were trying to do. Accessibility reports go to the front of the queue.
